GO was formed with the help of group travel organizers by seasoned industry veterans with vast experience increasing membership and member profitability for travel agencies. With GO, they are shifting that same drive for professionalism and profitability, combined with advanced education and technology, to group travel.

John Kloster

John Kloster owns GO and is Senior Editor of Leisure Group Travel magazine. Although he continues to write travel articles, most of his time is spent spearheading GO.
John brings extensive skills in general management, sales, marketing and other areas, gained from over thirty years in the travel industry. Previously, Kloster served for 14 years as CEO of MAST, a regional travel agency consortium. While there, he expanded the membership twelve-fold and conceived and implemented the group's innovative marketing and educational programs. He was also responsible for negotiating the first GDS contract on behalf of a large agency consortium. Prior to joining MAST, Kloster spent 14 years in the wholesale tour business with two different firms. He held various sales, marketing, operations and management positions before becoming the head of both companies.
John has served on numerous industry advisory boards, including the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), Princess Cruise Line, Pleasure Break Vacations, CTIP, DER and others. Leisure Travel News named him one of the industry's Top 25 Influential Executives in 1998 and 2000. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government and History from the College of William and Mary in Virginia.

Kathryn, “Kitty” Cayo joined GO as its Vice-President and Member Services Manager in October 2005. Cayo is a former broadcast reporter that became intrigued with travel and tourism while reporting on the industry. She joined a Milwaukee-based management group, responsible for advertising and promotion duties for the group’s several hotels and restaurants. After re-locating to the eastern US in 1990, she became the Advertising and PR Director of a fine art publishing company in western New York, followed by a four-year period as Communications Director of a NYS DMO. Today, Cayo is owner of KAC Communications, Inc. a consulting firm selected by Premier Tourism Marketing in 2004 to lead the publishing group’s public relations efforts. In addition to serving GO and its members, Cayo writes for Leisure Group Travel magazine and her travel and human-interest features are seen in other area magazines and newspapers as well.
