Join our Teleconference on Promotions
Our next teleconference is “How to Get More People to
Respond to Your Promotions.” In this session you will
learn how to reach the right prospects and when. We will
look at crafting the message, review various formats and
discuss the frequency needed to reach and deliver
customers. We will also cover common mistakes which cause
prospects not to respond. The session will be held at 1PM
Eastern time on Friday, July 30. There is no charge, but
you must register at www.goexperience.com. If you are
unable to attend, the CD will be available for sale in the
GO Books and CDs section for $12.

GO Reaches Membership Milestone
GO has added three more members since our last newsletter
and we are now at 102. Gretchen Huffman from Peoples
Savings Bank in Urbana, Ohio was our 100th member and is
the contest winner, receiving her dues for free this year.
Be sure to tell your fellow group organizers about GO,
because the more members we have, the more clout we’ll have
in negotiating better deals for you.

New Member Services Initiatives
We want to let you know about some new member benefits
we’re working on, which will be rolled out through the
summer. The first is a group-rate cruise program, which
will offer members the lowest prices in the marketplace,
along with special group amenities guaranteed. In
addition, GO is developing marketing support materials,
which will give members a turn-key marketing program to
support their sales of GO group cruises. Second, GO is in
the planning stages for the first annual GO conference,
planned for fall 2005 in a central U.S. city. Tentative
plans have also been made to hold a conference this fall,
also in a central location. This year’s conference, if all
works out, would be held in conjunction with another large
travel organization. Finally, GO is developing a member
web site program. Essentially, GO will develop a series of
group travel templates from which members can choose, along
with a vast photo gallery to enhance the appearance.
Members can then post their own trips on their own sites.

GO Travel Protection
For many travelers, a flare-up of a pre-existing medical
condition is the number one reason why trips are cancelled.
When you think of all the money they paid for their trips,
the question is whether they will get any of it back. Good
news! When your clients buy the GO Travel Protection plan,
they are covered for pre-existing medical conditions if
they bought the insurance within 15 days of the initial
payment for the trip. What does this mean? 100% of the trip
cost is protected if your client cancels for a covered
reason including a pre-existing medical condition. Medical
expenses incurred for a pre-existing medical condition are
covered as well. It’s the protection your clients need! You
earn up to $30 for every $100 of insurance purchased -- And
you can do it all online! It pays to make sure your
traveler is protected. For more information, visit
www.goexperience.com and click “Make Money with Travel
Insurance.” GO is distributing an average of $160 today to
each member who sold travel insurance in May.

I’m off next week in Wisconsin, researching new areas in
the state to be used in our December state feature in
Leisure Group Travel magazine. If you have any suggestions
for me on improving GO services, please drop me an email at
